Ohio Crappie Club Youth Tournament

SIX The Ohio Crappie Club held its annual Youth Tournament at Hoover Lake, July 2, 2022. The kids fished from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and could fish from the shore or in a boat. They could weigh in up to seven crappie. There were also non-species entries as well. Our event more than doubled in size, having 17 youth anglers in 2021 to 44 in 2022. Our Off Shore Team consisted of Mike Six, Ethan H., Owen H., Bobbi H., and Rick H. We used the OR38 Awesome Crappie Boards and slayed over 40 crappie. Our nephew Owen even scored a 36” gar landing him the non-target species trophy. Everyone can’t wait for the 2023 event! Come on out everyone! A lot of great prizes and food for all!
