Letter From The Chairman Oft He Boards, Bruce Deshano
This is the 30th year of the Off Shore Release and it has been fun being part of this paper for all these years! Hopefully this will be the best one ever and just as a reminder, our website offshoretackle.com has many years of the past papers available for your reading and learning enjoyment; just click on the Articles button located on the left-hand side of the home page.
Looks like the pandemic has passed and we can begin to get back to normal. I want to thank all of our employees for going above and beyond during these trying times. They did their very best to put product out whenever we managed to get materials to build with.
To our Pro Staff and our loyal tournament anglers, you once again rose to the top with many appearances at sport shows and on the weigh in stages keeping Off Shore Tackle The Leaders in Trolling Technology. It was good to see shows going again and great attendance from the consumers. We can get everything back to the way it was or even better in the future! Keeping Off Shore in the public eye is important and letting them know that Off Shore is an American company; built in America is important with all the copies from foreign sources out there. While knock off’s may look like our products, remember that they don’t work the same as the saying goes “Often Imitated, Never Duplicated”.
Anglers are starting to understand how important the OR40 EZ Crankbait Tuning Tool is to catching more fish and bass anglers are beginning to use it for casting crankbaits. We will work on more videos this year to explain it even more.
Had a little fun fishing the Detroit River this spring with Captain Mike Martin along with lifetime friends Mike and Ken Zelkowski. We caught a lot of fish and even more laughs. I went bass fishing with rubber frogs and had a blast doing that, but I need to learn to wait a bit before setting the hook, I had to duck a few times with a frog flying past my head! Skipped over to WI and fished with our Minnesota and Wisconsin team Director Ken Doepker and his wife for some bluegills and even got Ken to clean them for me since I couldn’t do it right (Wink)! Thanks for the great time, Ken. I hope you enjoy reading this 30th edition of the Off Shore Release and go to our website for other issues of it and many videos on using Off Shore Product.
Thank all of you for our support and we are looking forward to many more years of printing this paper.
